The council presented the Boy Scout Troop 65 with a proclamation, recognizing the dedicated work of the eight scouts that recently received the rank of Eagle Scouts. Matthew Amedee Savoie, Luke Clement Savoie, Erik Tyler Viator, Charles Anthony Houpy III, Christopher Paul Delatte, Mason Joseph Ruiz, Jeffrey Joseph Kelley and Joseph Daniel Stassi received the Eagle Scout rank, which only about four percent of scouts ever attain.
